Fluidity is extremely special as it serves as reminder for us to enjoy the journey. The undulating forms of the Iris’ petals are fluid and organic and quite literally “going with the flow.” What an important concept to come back to as we navigate through the complexities of life! We must try to enjoy the process, appreciate the steps of progress, and let go of things beyond our control.
 
This painting began with a graphite drawing on canvas. Next, I applied the base colors and values in the form of an underpainting. Once the underpainting dried, I continued building up the rich colors using layers of acrylic paint. I overlapped numerous layers of transparent color form dynamic hues and soft edges.

Your limited edition giclee print is not stretched and will arrive in a protective tube mailer or flat mailer.
 
The surface of the print is a Premium Archival Matte Paper (a medium weight, matte paper with a completely smooth surface).
